Our Security Guard Fresher Course in Derby is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and SIA-recognised qualifications needed to work confidently and professionally in a wide range of guarding roles. Whether you’re entering the security industry for the first time or looking to refresh your expertise, this course keeps you compliant with the latest SIA standards and industry best practices.
Training runs from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for 2 days, except for the first day (Emergency First Aid at Work), which is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and you can only have 12 courses.
To work legally as a Security Guard in the UK, you must hold a valid SIA licence. This course includes the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification and full SIA-approved training, ensuring you meet the latest standards, maintain your professional competence, and deliver effective security services across a range of environments.
Hold a Security Guard SIA license instead? You will need to take the CCTV Operator course.
Our Security Officer Refresher training is designed for professionals who need to renew their existing SIA licence. This updated course ensures you meet the latest industry regulations while strengthening your skills to handle today’s diverse security challenges effectively.
