To register for this training course, learners must:
Keep your SIA licence valid and your skills current with our Door Supervisor Training in Derby. This essential course provides up-to-date knowledge on the latest SIA regulations, industry best practices, and modern safety protocols, ensuring you remain confident, compliant, and ready for today’s security challenges in the UK.
Training runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm for 7 days, except for the first day (Emergency First Aid at Work), which is 9:00am – 4:00pm
This course includes the L2 Award in Door Supervision, which content;
Working in the Private Security Industry – multiple choice exam
(72 questions, pass mark 50).
Working as a Door Supervisor – tutor assessment on searching & multiple choice exam (50 questions, pass mark 35)
Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry – tutor assessment & multiple choice exam (20 questions, pass mark 14).
Physical Intervention in the Private Security –Tutor assessment & multiple choice exam (30 questions, pass mark 24).
Please note: This training requires a reasonable level of physical fitness, and you can only have 12 courses. It does not exclude people with disabilities, but all injuries must be notified in advance of the course.
Hold a Security Guard SIA license instead? You will need to take the Security Guard Refresher course.
